good start.... take a look at the object referencing guidelines on the wiki. that will help explain the nuances of accessing objects when there are multiple copies in the world.

Hey Johnny, nice start here! To add high scores, start by adding a custom property to the world (From the bottom-left director menu, select World->Properties). Then, when the object you are shooting collides with the enemy ship, add a value to the custom property.

Then you'll need to determine an end-game scenario where you want to submit the high score (maybe when your ship collides with an enemy ship). When that happens, you can use the Save Score action to send the high score to the server. Then you'll automatically get friend challenges and high score lists for your game.

If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a direct message or check out the Wiki at http://wiki.sharendipity.com.
